It’s honestly difficult to feel settled in some places, and through our years of moving we’d lived in plenty of places where we just felt temporary – like we were floating, waiting for something to change. Zetland had something we’d been missing, and we were keen to settle here. There are so many crucial details to understand when it comes to sorting your home loan and settling on a property and having someone who was so easy to talk to you and just plain happy to help, put us at ease. We could ask her just about anything about the process or the terms on the contract – and given we’d never bought property in NSW it was great to have an expert to explain all of those easy-to-miss details.
She was reliable, fast, careful and professional on every occasion. First and foremost, she completed the formal steps (documents, signatures, approvals) like clockwork – on time, exactly as arranged. Second, she fine-tuned their process to our needs, going out of her way to accommodate us. And third, she treated us like real people not just customers. When we first found the place, we sent her a link to the property and her first response was sheer happiness and excitement for us. That’s not part of the job description – she must get these kind of emails all of the time. Yet, she was genuinely as excited that we’d found this place as we were. Feeling like she was more than just a voice on the other end of the phone, and we were more than just customers, really meant a lot.
When we finally had formal approval of the loan and the place officially became ours, we were ecstatic – not just with the outcome, but with the entire process. We’re so lucky to have found a place we’re so comfortable in, and we’re luckier still to have had such a great, stress-free experience getting there.
